Privacy Policy

Medline handles website inquiries as business communications and asks visitors not to submit patient health information through public forms.

Information we collect

We may collect contact details, organization name, facility type, product interests, and messages submitted through forms. We may also collect basic website analytics used to improve navigation and resource availability. When a visitor requests product documentation or service planning, the request may include non-patient operational details such as device family, installed-base count, care setting, preferred contract route, or documentation deadlines.

How we use information

Information is used to respond to requests, route product or service questions, prepare documentation packets, and improve commercial support. We do not ask for protected health information in website forms. Inquiry details may help Medline identify the right specialist, prepare IFU or UDI materials, schedule a demo, evaluate service coverage, or clarify whether a separate privacy or security review is required.

HIPAA and sensitive data

If a business associate agreement or data processing agreement is required for a remote-care or service workflow, it must be executed separately before any sensitive data exchange. Do not include patient identifiers in website inquiries. If protected health information is accidentally submitted, Medline will handle the message according to internal privacy procedures and may ask the sender to resubmit the request without patient details.

Sharing

Medline may share inquiry details with authorized service, regulatory, or distribution teams only as needed to answer the request. We do not sell inquiry data. Where a request relates to a territory, market authorization, field service route, or documentation package, limited information may be routed to qualified personnel who support that product family or region.

Security and retention

Medline applies administrative and technical controls intended to protect business inquiry information from unauthorized access. Retention periods depend on the nature of the request, legal obligations, contract status, and quality-system needs. Commercial records may be retained when they support quote history, complaint handling, service traceability, or regulatory documentation workflows.

Your choices

You may request correction, deletion, or communication preference changes by contacting [email protected]. Some records may be retained where commercial, compliance, or legal obligations require it. You can also ask Medline to explain what type of document or agreement is needed before any remote-care data workflow begins.
